THE VILLAGE OF NOSARA

The village of Nosara is a 10 minute drive from the B&B. There you will find two supermarkets, souvenir shops, restaurants, a doctor, post office, and a small airport.

THE BEACHES OF NOSARA

The beaches of Nosara "Playa Guiones" and "Playa Pelada" are two of the prettiest on the Pacific Coast, offering an exceptionally long stretch of undeveloped, white sand beach areas. One reason for this is local residents' dedication to keeping commercial development to a minimum. More than two-thirds of the clean unspoiled beaches have been designated wildlife reserves, giving its visitors a sense of serene privacy.

A reef shelters part of the beach, and turns the ocean into tide pools at low tide. Than you can sit in the shallow warm water, float along or snorkel. So even if you are not the greatest swimmer, or have small children you can always enjoy the ocean. "Playa Guiones" is a long surfers paradise and "Playa Pelada" is a crescent shaped, secluded, and is a wonderful swimming beach. Several excellent restaurants are in the beach areas.
